How do you excel in this position\n

The Lead Painter Technician is a critical role in supporting our growing compression skid system business. This will be a hands-on, working lead role, requiring the individual to perform all painting tasks. As the department grows, this position will evolve to supervise and mentor a team of painters across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, quality control, and safety protocols. They will also possess the leadership skills to build and manage a successful painting team.\n

What are we looking for\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in painting or related fields are a plus.\nFive (5) years of experience as an industrial painter required.\nLead or supervisory experience preferred.\nExtensive knowledge of various industrial painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and coating materials.\nExperience with operating and maintaining blast equipment.\nStrong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.\nKnowledge of ISO 12944, NACE\/SSPC standards.\n\n
