ADP Innovation Labs is hiring Lead Performance Engineer. We are looking for Lead Performance Engineer having experience in setting up and maintaining the performance engineering discipline for the ADP Innovation Labs’ new, conversation-based application across mobile, desktop, tablet, and wearable devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with a small team of front-end designers, data scientists, developers, and research specialists who will value your expertise in performance engineering.  You are comfortable collaborating, but equally capable of working independently.   Collaborate with business analysts and senior leadership to define performance acceptance criteria across multiple components of the application. Research and setup a toolset for performance benchmarking of multiple services. Build or setup tools that will allow monitoring the evolution of the application performance over time on production and integrated test environments. Build or setup tools that will help development teams meet performance acceptance criteria.

Qualifications:

Over 8 years of hands-on experience in web applications performance engineering Experience with REST APIs and JSON Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVC patterns Strong understanding of modern API architectures Experience with open-source software  Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud services provider. Passion for great user experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is desired Programming skills in either in Node.JS or Go Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, i.e. GraphQL, MySQL, and Redis Good understanding of Agile development and continuous integration
