the needs of our patientsThe Lead Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacist in all aspects of the Pharmacy operations in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department with all aspects of purchasing in the Pharmacy to support the daily needs of the department and the hospital Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingAssists registered pharmacists in the preparation dispensing and distribution of non sterile and sterilehazardous if assigned medicationsMaintain inventories by ordering stocking packaging andor rotating drugs and supplies discarding expired drugs to ensure adequate supplies at all times in accordance with established department proceduresMonitors storage conditions for drugs and other pharmacy items through regular nursing unit inspections to ensure items are stored appropriatelyCoordinates the training and documentation of new technicians in assigned work areaAssists Pharmacy Management team in technician scheduling and performance evaluationAssist Pharmacy leadership team with quality and regulatory tasksWorks effectively as a team member within department and with customers to provide quality service to hospital units through
