Lead Pharmacy Technician

Type of Work: Full-Time  
Shift Availability: The candidate must have open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly Pay Rate: $23.75hr 
Location: 79 Gold Star Hwy, Groton, CT 06340

What You’ll Do:

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each Curaleaf member receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. You will be responsible for assisting guests with their personal needs, maintaining a comprehensive product knowledge, and consistently delivering the highest level of customer service. In this role, you will also provide guidance and leadership to our team of pharmacy technicians.

Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Provide guidance, training, and ongoing development for the team. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Educate members about product options, effects, and benefits to help them make informed choices. Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations governing cannabis dispensary operations. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking products as needed. Address and resolve any member issues or concerns with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with management to find effective solutions to operational challenges.

What You’ll Bring: 

You must have had an active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state in which you are applying within the past five (5) years and is or was in good standing at the time their registration lapsed. At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.  Proven experience in coaching and training team members to achieve their best.   Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.  Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.  Commitment to maintaining compliance with state regulations.  Exceptional customer service skills with a solutions-oriented mindset. 

Even Better If:  

You have previous experience in the cannabis industry.  

Physical Requirements:  

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and finger to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds.  This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).    

Work Environment:  

This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, POS systems, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position has allergen warnings including potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens and requires the ability to work in confined spaces, have a high stress tolerance, adaptability, and be flexible to work in an ever-changing environment.  

Connecticut Hiring Range$23.75—$26.25 USD
