Roles and Responsibilities:
Be 100% responsible for fulfillment for assigned suppliersManage capacity, PO allocation, supplier relationship, and fulfillment strategy in order to minimize delivery risksWork with Global Commodity Leaders (GCL's) to execute on Supplier fulfillment strategy for assigned commodity to drive product cost out, inventory optimization, and cash playsPlan and place Purchase Orders (POs) at lead time and obtain PO acknowledgements from SuppliersKeep purchase order need dates aligned with Master Production Schedule to prevent outages or excess inventoryHold weekly reviews with suppliers to ensure promise date accuracyDevelop and drive effective recovery plans when necessaryTrack in-transit material to identify and address any potential delivery issuesManage and resolve issues relative to engineering design changes, cut-ins and item master maintenanceDevelop knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes, material and commodity pricing and excellent focus on qualityDevelop process to look upstream for pending requirements and drive engineering / manufacturing / sales to ensure sourcing given adequate cycle to procure materialDrive and lead continuous improvement in fulfillment processes for assigned commodity including cost out, lead time reduction, and simplificationEngage and lead w/horizontal teams to develop risk mitigation plans for NPI launch issues – Quality/Cost/Delivery/LTRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, engineering or manufacturingDesired Characteristics:

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for variable incentive compensation (10%).
