What will you do?
Lead the design and analysis of power systems for various projects. Conduct power system studies including load flow, short circuit, stability analysis, Harmonics study, relay coordination, insulation co-ordination, Arc flash, inverter modelling, Sub synchronous oscillations study Develop and implement protection and control schemes for power systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement power system solutions. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation. Perform system modeling and simulation using specialized software. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies for power system optimization.Coordinate with utility companies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, as required. Develop and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders. Ensure the reliability and efficiency of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Manage and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.Solves problems that appear during engineering development. Focus on cost-efficient system solutions.Ensure compliance with Linxon and Client engineering guidelines, standards and quality across the complete engineering process.Provide input for close out report and lessons learned and follow/review lessons learned for next projects.Experience, Education and other Required:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in power system engineering. Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSCAD, Digisilent Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ANSI).In depth knowledge of conducting simulations and analytical studies for transmission and Distribution, Planning, load and generation interconnection, integration of renewables.Able to prepare simulation study models and carry out power system studies including but not limited to:Grid compliance studies for BESS and Hybrid projects.Steady state and Dynamic power flow analysis.Short circuit /load flow calculation.Harmonics / Arc flash studiesPower quality analysis.Sub synchronous oscillationsElectro Magnetic Transient Analysis (EMTP) such as Switching and Lightning transient studies, Energization studies etc.Candidate should be able to carry out Overcurrent and earth fault protection co-ordination for the transmission and distribution network and Unit protection calculation for Transformer, Motor, busbar, generator etc.Lead and carry out consulting, research and development study projects.Analyze study results and recommend solutions as per requirements and able to discuss / clarify Clients /stakeholders with help of results.Prepare study reports and other technical documentation.Respond to request for proposals (RFP) by preparing proposals & estimation of man-hours.Mentoring junior staffs and able to provide training on subject of expertise and deliver training courses on subject of expertise.Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are a must, including the capability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams. Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills, be willing to travel, and work successfully in a customer focused, project-oriented environment.
