Our client, a leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Lead Project/Process Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Project/Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a results-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Lead Project/Process Engineer
**Location:** Plaquemine, LA
**Pay Range:**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage large capital projects and troubleshoot complex processes.
+ Develop and maintain productive relationships with production engineers, supervisors, R&D, and maintenance.
+ Lead the development and review of control strategies while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
+ Provide leadership and technical support during project start-up and commissioning.
+ Mentor or supervise junior engineers and manage resources effectively.
**What's Needed?**
+ Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
+ Experience in engineering design of chemical plants, including hands-on troubleshooting experience.
+ Strong understanding of different unit operations and project management concepts.
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
+ Organized and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
