Lead Procurement Agent

Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense, Space, and Security** is seeking a **Lead Procurement Agent** (Level 5) to join our **Proprietary Supply Chain** team in **Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO** to work with key suppliers in support of complex development and procurement efforts. The successful candidate will incorporate sourcing strategies, ensure compliant procurement practices and support process improvement initiatives. Above all, employees will be provided the opportunity to seek, speak, and listen within the organization, and they are encouraged to build relationships with our Boeing Supplier partners. **Position Responsibilities:** + The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills. + Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required + Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements + Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities + Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements + Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations + Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance + Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs + Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies + Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies + Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs + Travel expected to be less than 25% **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + More than 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management + More than 10 years of experience in Microsoft Office + More than 5 years of experience with supplier contracts and negotiations + Experience in Customer Service **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred. + Experience in contracts and proposals. + Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations. + Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers. + Experience using SAP software. **Additional Information:** This role is Contingent Upon Award **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies _._ **Total Rewards:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
