The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space, and Security is seeking a Lead Procurement Agent (Level 5) to join our Proprietary Supply Chain team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO to work with key suppliers in support of complex development and procurement efforts. Position Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is requiredSupports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreementsGathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunitiesCollaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirementsLeads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsManages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceLeads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programsDevelops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesAnalyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategiesActs as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programsTravel expected to be less than 25%Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain ManagementMore than 10 years of experience in Microsoft OfficeMore than 5 years of experience with supplier contracts and negotiationsExperience in Customer ServicePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.Experience in contracts and proposals.Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers.Experience using SAP software.Additional Information:
