Purchasing and billing form the cornerstone of our customer product experience. A frustrating experience can make or break even the best experience with a product. That’s why we’re looking for a Lead Product Manager who will dig into the details and help define and deliver a world-class eCommerce and billing experience for our largest customer base: our agents and brokers. 

What you’ll do:

Spend time with our customers to dig into how they purchase and pay for products, and how these processes fit with their accounting operations, to understand their needs and challenges.  Partner with design, engineering, data science, and analytics teams to identify and prioritize opportunities and turn them into requirements, designs, and code.  Meet with sales and customer service leaders to align on top purchase and billing pain points that have surfaced in tickets and customer calls.  Shadow customers to watch them walk through our Commerce experience, and identify new areas of opportunity. Partner with your fellow product managers on product changes that may impact customer purchase and billing solutions.

The ideal candidate for this role loves getting into the details, goes deep with customers to understand their needs and translating those to successful products, has ecommerce and online marketplace experience, has a proven track record of collaborating with sales, accounting, and customer service teams, has some experience working on B2B products including Salesforce as a Product, and is skilled at communicating across levels and functions. Success in the role will be measured by rate of funnel improvement, increased sales, customer NPS, customer feedback.

Attention to Detail – Raise the team’s standards for quality and attention to detail Planning – Lead cross-functional participation in planning and execution; direct product development toward the highest-ROI opportunities Decisive – Translate ambiguous or conflicting inputs into solid action plans and precise requirements Communication Skills – Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills; experience crafting epics, user stories, and tasks Leadership – Able to unite and steer one or more more teams aligned to the same goal without direct managerial authority Education – Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience preferred or equivalent work experience Industry Experience – Product management experience at a leading technology company, eCommerce and/or billing software experience preferred Product Experience – Adopting product management best practices, standards and policies Strategic Thinker – Understand business objectives and convert them into clear product plans, and follow through with execution Results Oriented – Use hard data to assess opportunities, metrics driven, ruthless in prioritization, overcomes obstacles to drive business outcomes Adoptable – Comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple initiatives, remain optimistic Excellent Communicator – Articulate product strategy and roadmap, structure the problem at hand, gain alignment with and present to senior executives
