Job Description Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in developing and managing B2B products, with specific expertise in second-line defense roles, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate market needs into innovative product solutions and drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond. 

 

In this role, you will be the main contributor to the product’s definition, go to market, and support a collaborative effort that will include other product managers responsible for interconnected areas within the current TeamMate product offering. This makes your role extremely important for our success, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Hybrid: Eight days a month we come together in our office to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will report to the Director, Product Management, CP & ESG TeamMate and under the leadership of the SVP, General Management Global Audit Solutions (IA) (+). Job Qualifications (Minimum):   

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.  

Travel:  Minimal Travel <20% possible. 

Experience:  Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on B2B products. 

Proven experience in a 2nd line of defense function such as Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Control with expert knowledge of ERM, and GRC frameworks. Knowledge of internal audit would also be helpful. 

Strong communication skills - verbal and written.  

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management and compliance. 

Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams. 

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. 

  

Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills, or Certifications (Minimum):   

Experience:  10+ years of experience working as a successful product manager in the GRC, ERM, and Compliance space. 

10+ years of product management experience: 

Proven track record in building products end to end from conception to design. 

Experience in successfully defining strategic Go To Market plans and releasing new products to the market.  

  

Essential Responsibilities  

In this role you will have primary responsibility for leading product strategy, informing our multi-generational roadmap, developing business cases, and defining a successful go-to-market strategy. What you’ll be responsible for:           

 

Specifically, we are looking for a seasoned professional to: 

Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy.   

Conduct both qualitative (Contextual Design) and quantitative research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.   

Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements. 

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and features, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. 

Work closely with product owners, engineering, UX/design, and QA teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications. 

Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization. 

 

Other responsibilities include: 

Ensure that products effectively support customers that work within the 2nd line as part of ERM, Compliance, and/or GRC. 

Collaborate with internal audit and 2nd line groups to integrate optimal risk management and compliance requirements into product design and development. 

Engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and industry experts to gather feedback and validate product concepts. 

Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that product decisions are customer centric. 

Conduct product demonstrations, training, and presentations to internal and external audiences. 

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for product performance. 

Conduct regular product performance reviews and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. 

Identify and prioritize opportunities for product enhancements and optimizations based on user feedback and market demands. 

Work collaboratively and directly with customers, prospects, and internal resources to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations and minimize customer impacts; continually improve internal systems; and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the functionality and technologies of internal systems.
