Job Description:

The Lead Product Manager will play a critical role on our Product team working day to day with Engineers, business stakeholders, Benefit Platforms teams, and UX designers to solve problems for our clients by delivering amazing API and data exchange solutions. You will partner with Product team members and key areas across the business to bring ideas from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Owner for a B2C product and can demonstrate their curiosity and passion for helping our clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
 

We will expect you to:

Help define the problems our clients are facing and what’s needed to best deliver API solutions for themRepresent the voice of the customer by synthesizing information from multiple channels such as direct client feedback, stakeholder feedback, market research, competitor analysis, and user testingTranslate technical requirements for API development and delivery to key stakeholdersLead a team of Engineers through backlog grooming, planning and estimation, and ongoing development by thoughtfully balancing customer needs with engineering capacityMaintain a prioritized and groomed product backlog that supports the company’s partner integration strategyAuthor feature briefs and user stories, conduct acceptance testing and create detailed release notes and wiki-based product documentationWork hand in hand with the UX design team (when needed) to create amazing user experiences and collaborate with Product Marketing to plan release dates and effectively communicate the value proposition of new connectivity and data exchange features for go-to-marketWhen necessary, work in conjunction with the technical support team to triage and assess production issues, perform impact analysis, and provide support to the Engineering and Benefit Platform teams to bring issues to resolutionPartner with Implementation teams during pilots for successful delivery of APIsEnsure Benefit Platform teams and clients are fully equipped for future onboarding of clientsPartner with Ben Tech Integration team and Platforms for full end-to-end API deliveryCommunicate and reinforce the client experience and value of solution deliveryBe curious and data driven - contribute to the definition, data collection, and analysis of data for KPIs and product metricsBe flexible and able to take on and master new topic areas quickly, run with project assignments independently, but know when to ask questions.Be a team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed


 

Requirements

Four or more years of professional experience working in a product-related roleAn understanding of enrollment within the Group Benefits spaceBachelor’s or master’s degree in business management or technical field is preferredAn agile development practitioner with strong experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to create user stories and author product requirements and documentationCollaborative in your approach, appropriately engaging team members to accomplish your objectivesFlexible to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a professional and timely mannerAbility to build solid relationships with clients and vendors and partner on delivery of solutionsExcellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

Southern California region: $107,700 - $161,600 annually

Central California region: $113,600 - $170,400 annually

Northern California region: $121,400 - $182,100 annually 
  
If you are a Minnesota, Colorado or Nevada resident, the salary range for this position is $102,800 - $154,200 annually 
 
If you are an Illinois, Connecticut or Maryland resident, the salary range for this position is $107,700 - $161,600 annually 
 
If you are Washington, Washington D.C., and Rhode Island resident, the salary range for this position is $113,600 - $170,400 annually 
  
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $121,400 - $182,100 annually
