Lead Product Manager

Summary Under minimal supervision, supports multiple products and services. Monitors and maintains documentation of enhancements, issues and systems defects and reports on trends and opportunities for improvement. Applies industry best practices and executes established product strategy to assigned work or projects. Complete special projects as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Product Management + Define and own the strategy and digital roadmap from beginning to end for key digital experiences and help us grow our business digitally. + Translate insights from research, analytics and user data to create user stories, product requirements and features + Helps build and execute product roadmap + Be a key player on the team to remove roadblocks and drive team success + Be the voice of the Member through data and empathy. + Be a digital thought leader with a vision to innovate and transform + Align and collaborate with business line stakeholders to achieve shared goals and become a digital ambassador, providing training, best practices, and coaching. Product Development + Owns the prioritization, execution and delivery of development backlog for the end-to-end platform; from front-end UX to backend APIs, and integrations in between. + Manages multiple projects from concept through completion. + Works with engineering team to build and launch new features + Leverage agile methodologies and design thinking to test assumptions quickly + Scope feature development and help drive implementation & execution Research + Drive growth in KPIs and supporting metrics like traffic, engagement, retention, and conversions. + Research and analyze user needs + Plan research projects alongside Product & Business stakeholders + Run research projects to understand and communicate user needs to the team Data Analysis + Analyze research data to understand trends in product usage, gaps in current experience and Member needs + Helps translate analytics data into actionable insights + Helps identify & develop specific customer segments KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS + Your track record shows the equivalent of 3+ years of solving problems for consumers in a product-management-like role for a tech or internet company or venture. + You’ve built, or grown online/mobile businesses. eCommerce experience is highly desired. + There’s a little bit of consultant in you. Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong leadership skills and managing multiple projects simultaneously. + Your toolkit includes data driven decision making and a/b testing. + You are a strong strategic thinker - can develop and articulate a clear product strategy, aligning it with business line goals and an actionable roadmap to achieve it. + You excel in analytics, problem-solving, and are organized to create persuasive presentations and on point product acceptance criteria. + Your default is to collaborate with all team members building strong relationships and better solutions. + You relish talking design thinking and human centered design with our UX folks. + You hold your own speaking in front of a crowd. + People read your emails and understand them completely. EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES + Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in related field + Master Degree Preferred + 5-8 Years of experience in a digital or ecommerce role + 4-8 Years of experience as product manager Certifications / Licenses + 2-4 years experience in Agile work environment + Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner + Desirable: Certified Scrum Master WORKING ENVIRONMENT / MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences.
