National Grid is hiring a Lead Program Manager, Emergency Planning for Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations
Job PurposeThe chosen candidate will be part of the New England Emergency Planning Organization and work in collaboration across multiple business areas including US Physical Security and Electric & Gas Customer Meter Services to drive operational readiness. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing actionable intelligence and operational framework to ensure CMS and other employee risks are appropriately addressed, mitigated, recorded, and managed within the New England Region of the US Business. This role will engage internal and external stakeholders and leverage resources to identify and mitigate operational and personal safety risks across New England for regular identified field operations. The chosen candidate will ensure risks are documented on the appropriate risk registers and work through risk assessment and best practices to ensure identified measures are put in place.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent field experience required. 15 years law enforcement or related security experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Threat Mitigation, Intelligence Collection and Personal Safety Controls. Proven experience in development of detailed written threat assessments and ability to brief/present to all levels of the business. Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, geospatial mapping, video production applications, and remote deployment of work products preferred. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to anticipate obstacles and think ahead about next steps. Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed and in response to emergencies. Valid US driver’s license required with driving record that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver Policy. This role will be a highly mobile, cross-programmatic position and will require frequent communication and liaison with law enforcement partners across our New England territory. This position will have frequent travel across the Massachusetts territory and the potential for occasional travel outside of the New England service territory.

Salary - $130,000 - $153,000
