Role Summary As the Program Manager, Planning and Analytics, you will be responsible for leading complex strategic programs for Rivian’s Business Operations team. You will work closely with members of the Business Operations team to optimize tools and processes across Demand Planning, Forecasting, Sales & Marketing Analytics, Performance Management, and Product Feedback & Market Insights. You will work cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance and supply chain teams to ensure close coordination on requirements for tools and processes and to improve operational efficiency across the organization. In this role you will also define and implement key solutions in the technology roadmap for Business Operations, working as a liaison to our Digital team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Program Manager with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing large-scale initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities ● Lead cross-functional programs across Business Operations, monitoring projects and initiatives using program management tools (such as Confluence, Smartsheet, and SharePoint) to communicate a project’s vision, priorities, and timelines ● Establish program timelines, set goals, and continuously monitor how programs are progressing ● Proactively engage with internal and external partners to bridge gaps to the established roadmap and ensure deadlines are met ● Collect cross-functional requirements for digital solutions and define the technology roadmap for solutions cross Business Operations ● Implement the technology roadmap for digital solutions, including implementing an Advanced Planning System for Demand Planning (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or similar) ● Identify opportunities for process improvements within planning and analytics workflows, implementing best practices for data management, reporting, and forecasting ● Analyze and report on accuracy of forecasts and other analytics performed by the Business Operations team; propose process and tool improvements to increase reliability of forecasts and analytics ● Collaborate with Business Operations leadership to define the team strategy and success metrics ● Communicate planning and analytics process and technology changes to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency across the organization ● Provide guidance and mentorship to analytics and project management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Qualifications Experience: ● 5+ years of experience in project management ● Proven experience managing cross-functional programs or initiatives related to demand forecasting, inventory planning, and/or commercial analytics Skills: ● Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions ● Excellent project management skills, with experience leading complex programs ● Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities ● Exceptional communication and presentation abilities ● Proficiency in defining and implementing technology roadmaps – preferably with experience implementing Advanced Planning Systems for Demand Planning (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or similar) Other: ● Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills ● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $125,000-$140,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law). Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $135,000-$150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
