Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the development of detailed schedules, in Primavera P6, from cradle to completion in alignment with customer requirements. (i.e., project/contract milestones, design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and close out)Generate graphical reports using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel for both internal and external customersProvide consulting support to technical work scope owners by analyzing program plans to help develop proposal and preliminary schedulesAct as the scheduling point of contact in audits and program reviewsParticipate in project meetings, schedule follow-up meetings representing both project and planning interestsEvaluate project schedule and progress for validity and accuracy of project and resource requirementsProvide weekly/monthly accurate and realistic assessment of project schedules, identify, and report problem areas, work with the project and engineering teams to track solutions and corrective actionsConstantly monitor OTD (On Time Delivery) performance and objectives per schedule and work with project team to reach project milestones successfullyCreate and update scheduling procedures and standard work within the operations teamRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED)Minimum of 2 years of experience in project planning using logic driven scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project or Open PlanDesired Characteristics
Hands-on experience with Primavera (P6) and / or Advanced level experience with Microsoft Project is requiredExperience with analyzing schedules for quality in their constructionDemonstrates proficiency in efficient and effective schedule analysisMust be proficient in MS Office ProgramsExperience in Power Conversion business and knowledge of productsUnderstanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practicesOrganized and self-motivated with excellent verbal/written communication skillsAbility to efficiently and effectively handle multiple shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines. Ability to interface with difficult customers, customizing planning activities according to specific needs and requirementsStrong influencing skills when dealing with functions and planning their activitiesKnowledge of SAPThe salary range for this position is 87,000.00 – 116,000.00 – 145,000.00 USD Annual . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
