When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future—you’ll create it. **Overall Purpose:** Optimizes procurement processes by forecasting and managing inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of Mobility accessories to support organizational goals. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: + **Inventory Management and Forecasting:** Forecast requirements and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock of materials, equipment, supplies, and commodity products, preventing shortages and overstock situations. Issues and manages purchase orders in support of forecasted demand, collaborating with Demand Planner on forecast changes that impact supply plans throughout product lifecycle. + **Vendor** **Relationship Management and Procurement:** Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluate vendors performance, perform financial analysis, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. + **Problem Resolution and Process Improvement:** Resolve issues related to inventory, production schedules, or material shortages, and implement procedures to prevent future problems and enhance procurement processes. + **Data Analysis and Reporting:** Analyze purchasing data, issue periodic reports on trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and improve purchasing strategies. + **Compliance and Record Keeping:** Check and approve invoices for orders placed, obtain certifications of delivery, ensure compliance with organizational policies, and develop and maintain necessary records and files for efficient operation. **Job Contribution:** An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Supervisor: No **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas. **Compensation and Benefits:** Our Lead Purchasing professionals earn between $105,600 - $158,400 USD annually in Dallas, TX. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
