We are currently working with a company at the forefront of quantum networking, developing cutting-edge solutions that enable the next generation of secure communication and quantum information exchange.

They're looking for a strong, backend focused Python Engineer to join their team and build out their greenfield simulation software, with a goal to build a software that can simulate the Quantum Networking environments and high performance computing required to create data points and visualizations for better decision making. The ideal candidate will either have some background or interest in Quantum Computing as well. 

This role will be fully remote and a full time, direct hire role with the end client. 

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of professional Python development experience with a proven track record in building scalable, high-performance applications. Proficiency with modern Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI. Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment workflows. Experience building out greenfield applications from scratch Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-team interactions.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience/Familiarity/Interest in the Quantum Computing space
