Job Description Job Purpose ICE Mortgage Technology is a provider of enterprise on-demand solutions, including an online network, software and services for the residential mortgage industry. We are leading the mortgage industry into the future, developing and marketing software solutions that are transforming how mortgage lenders, investors, and settlement service providers work and work together. We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer who will be responsible for the development, delivery and execution of testing, including test automation for our Loan Origination platform. Responsibilities As a Subject Matter Expert, develop and enhance complex data driven test automation libraries and test routines. Improve and maintain existing automation infrastructure, including test automation framework, integrations, solutions and deliver stable and scalable test automation architecture. Develop test strategies, plans and implement procedures to improve quality and stability of the product. Drive technical reviews and quality enhancements. Identify dependencies and impact on the roadmap. Assess and remediate the risks to ensure high quality of the product releases. Play a key role in the incident troubleshooting and defect triage sessions. Lead root cause analysis, develop defect prevention processes and ultimately drive the incident TTD/TTR improvements. Collaborate with Development and cross-functional Automation Leads to continuously refactor and improve automation framework and utilities for reusability, stability and speed. Proactively work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements, discuss business use cases, estimate resourcing, develop execution plans, triage defects and follow up on resolutions. Produce clear and meaningful automated reports to document test execution results and test coverage. Lead regular code reviews. Provide recommendations on improving testability of services and applications. Coach and train other engineers. Promote innovation and best practices. Knowledge and Experience Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar experience 10+ years of experience in software development, Quality assurance and Automation with strong skill set including Java. Must have experience with Restful API testing and Microservices Must have in depth knowledge of TestNG, Maven and Jenkins. Must have experience working with JIRA for Agile Development, Defect Management and Test Case Management Must have automation experience handling automation frameworks, backend API and UI automation Must have knowledge and testing experience with Amazon AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch etc). Must have experience with logging tools such as Splunk, Kibana, etc In-depth experience with Agile methodology Strong analytical skills, attention to details and excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills to address complex technical problems Team player with strong communications skills, excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently. Previous experience working for Fintech/Lending companies, knowledge of the mortgage industry is a big plus. Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
