Job Summary: As a Lead QA Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and security of our applications. Your expertise in testautomation frameworks, tools, and best practices will contribute to our overall testing strategy, enabling us to deliver top-notch software to our clients.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and implement an automation test strategy and plan in alignment with project goals and timelines.
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
+ Create and enhance test automation frameworks for efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
+ Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects to the development team. Monitor test execution and manage test environments.
+ Integrate test automation into CI/CD process, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as Kiwi TCMC , Jira, Azure DevOps
+ Integration of automation test cases into AWS Device farm, Lambda test etc.
+ Generate and maintain test reports and documentation for test results, progress, and defects.
+ Mentor and guide junior automation test engineers. Coordinate and lead the testing team's efforts.
+ Develop, review, maintain, and execute test environments, test plans, test data etc.
+ Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards
+ Coordinate and/or consult with SQA team on how to test various system features and interfaces.
+ Accurately report testing results and progress at appropriate intervals as established by the SQA Manager
+ Design and implement Load and Stress tests using JMeter
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science /engineering
EXPERIENCE
+ 8+ years of QA experience
+ 6+ years of experience in automation testing, with a proven track record in designing and implementing test automation frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Git and GitLab or GitHub.
+ Testing experience in GWT, WebGL technology and 3D Drawing Application testing
+ Having exposure to DataDog monitoring tool.
+ Experience of working in Manufacturing based industry applications would be plus.
+ Performance testing experience (e.g. Jmeter/Blazemeter) would be plus
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES:
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Experience with cloud application testing, including Amazon AWS and Elastic Beanstalk
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, Azure DevOps) to automating test execution
+ In-depth knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.)
+ Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide a team of automation testers.
+ Expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, TestNG, Extent Reports
+ Proficiency in core Java – Design & Coding
+ Familiar in developing automation scripts using RPA Ui Path.
+ Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) may be a plus.
+ Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet deadlines
