We are looking for a seasoned individual with a deep understanding of concepts, approaches and methodology used. This individual should also have a deep level of expertise in the technological field including the quality assurance of products, services and manufacturing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Be responsible and serve as focal for the overall quality of the conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and inspection of production enginesRecommend changes to procedures to lead process improvementsCoordinate with engineering on manufacturing related issuesLead Investigations related to quality issues - create 4 blockers describing investigation/action status – present to plant leader at bi-weekly quality meetingIdentify/implement corrective actions for quality issuesDevelop and manage metrics and action plans to drive reduction in incoming quality issues.Support engine sickbaysEnsure Product Conformity. Lead and manage completion of Characteristic Accountability, driving process updates and changes in design as requiredUpdate/create quality proceduresConduct quarterly workstation auditsServe as focal for internal (Customer, ie. DoD) and support external audits (DNV, FAA, etc.)Support and Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis eventsInvestigate/answer all product related quality concernsSupport Quality CCC, present quality metricsInputs and influences decisions within own discipline and areaWorks on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processesCoach and mentor newer team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality)Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality or Manufacturing or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience
