Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to Gunter Bowling. This position is a Flexible position, you can be scheduled from 0 to 40 hours per week based on mission need. Responsibilities The primary function of the Lead Laser Tag Operator position is to oversee state-of-the-art laser tag facility under the direct supervision of Gunter Lanes manager. -Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the laser tag facility. -Distributes and balances workload among employees. -Observes work in progress, production, adherence to quality and safety standards. Instructs and trains new employees. -Monitor equipment and facility maintenance, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. -Assist with development and implementation with innovative and engaging laser tag programs and events to attract and retain customers of all ages and demographics. -Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams to create effective strategies for advertising and promoting the facility's offerings within the community. - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the facility's programming and maintain competitiveness in the market. -Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly and effectively. -Enforce all safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during laser tag activities, maintaining compliance with relevant industry standards and guidelines. -Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment, facilities, and operational procedures to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions as needed. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to lead 3 or more, a high school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a leadership role within the entertainment, recreation, or hospitality industry, with specific experience in laser tag operations highly desirable though not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and groups. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to recreational facilities and amusement attractions, with certification in CPR and first aid preferred but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate the facility's operating hours and special events. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
