We share an appetite for growth which drives all of us to continually reimagine our customers’ experience. **The Role at a glance:** We are looking to add an experienced Lead Registered Dietitian to our Cura Hospitality team serving a non-profit faith-based senior living system Missouri, and Kansas. You will have the opportunity to ensure that the clinical staff meets both company and the client's goals and expectations by identifying and assessing the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. **What you'll be doing:** + Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants. + Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements. + Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition. + Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs. + Be a resource to other dietitians and operations team members in all aspects of food service management and clinical services. + Assist with managing and overseeing staff members and dietitians as needed. + Serving as a Proctor for Certified Dietary Manager certification exam. + Covering Registered Dietitians during time off. **What we're looking for:** Must-haves: + Bachelor's degree in dietetics, with a master's degree preferred. + Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility. + Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process. + Licensed or certified, per state requirements. + Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights. + Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics. + 5+ years clinical experience in healthcare with at least two years in long-term care, and at least 2+ years of clinical supervisory experience. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines. + Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, with overnight travel required. + Reliable transportation required and IRS mileage reimbursement provided. **Where you'll be working:** Presbyterian Mid Manors of America (PMMA) accounts across MO/KS. **Our Benefits:** + Medical (FT Employees) + Dental + Vision + Voluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity + Discount Program + EAP + 401k + Sick Time + Holiday Pay (9 paid holidays) + Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees) + Paid Time Off \#LI-KM1 #indeedelior **About Cura:** Cura serves hospitals, senior living centers, and other long-term care facilities.
