Position Summary

Oversees Medical Imaging Registrars and coordinates the operations of the Outpatient Registration Area, including pre-registration and onsite registration for patients undergoing radiology, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, cardiac testing, pulmonary function, EEG and sleep lab procedures. Serves as working member of the group with supervisory responsibilities that include personnel assignments, training, and control of workflow.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1.Maintains the Outpatient Registration Area in an organized, synchronized flow.

2.Promotes harmony and teamwork in all areas of Medical Imaging.

3.Ensures that registration staff uses appropriate patient satisfaction practices.

4.Coordinates with referring physicians practice and insurance providers as appropriate.

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of one year as Registrar or equivalent position
