Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is in need of a full-time Lead Occupational Therapist to join their Rehab team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with the department manager to identify and implement program development activities.Facilitates educational training and professional development for OT staff assigned to the team.Monitors delivery of OT services to ensure that patients receive superior quality PT and OT services, therapy services are delivered in accordance with program standards of practice, conformity with three hours of combined therapy per day, resource utilization as per Inpatient HPPD guidelines, documentation and billing are consistent with corporate compliance standards, OT treatment plans are coordinated with other disciplines to assure an interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient served by the team.Works closely with the department manager on strategic planning/program development activities and implementation of identified initiatives for the Inpatient CPO (IP CPO) Program.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with other members of health care team (i.e. demonstrates understanding of responsibilities of each member of health care team, presents accurate patient information to health care team during meetings and conferences).Demonstrates performance standards consistent with St. Peter's Health Partners Core Values: Respect, Excellence, Stewardship, Community, Integrity and Creativity Identifies and completes administrative procedures required in a timely manner (i.e. daily scheduling, scheduling of modalities, group programs, therapeutic pool, weekend scheduling, billing).Requirements:
Graduation from an approved School of Occupational Therapy.Licensed by the State of New York as an Occupational Therapist with current registration.Minimum of 3 years experience in physical rehabilitation and 1 or more years experience in specialty area of practice preferredDemonstrated organizational and leadership qualities consistent with program development and staff orientation/training responsibilities as applied to specialty area of practice.Pay Range: $39.45-$49.80 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
