The Department of Inflammation & Immunity advances scientific understanding by bringing together a dedicated and collaborative team of scientists at the forefront of immunologic and organ-based research, to deliver impactful translational science that improves the health and well-being of patients at Cleveland Clinic and across the globe. The Feng Lin Lab studies complement activation and regulation in diseases like multiple sclerosis and myasenthia gravis. **A caregiver in this position works 8:00am - 5:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Develop and design experimental studies. + Analyze and evaluate data and information obtained from various projects. + Plan, organize, perform, and monitor daily project protocols. + Collect, prepare, and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes, and medical reports. + Report and assist with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events, and other project-related issues. + Develop, recommend, and implement changes in procedures for the various research laboratories. + Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations, conference reports/lectures, and publishing submissions. + Assist with the design, development, and writing of extramural grant proposals. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Master's degree in biological sciences or a related field. + Six years of experience including previous independent research positions. + A bachelor's degree and eight years of experience may substitute the education requirement. + Ability to conduct independent research studies. + Ability to analyze and interpret data. + Ability to train and supervise new caregivers. + Knowledge of laboratory equipment. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Extensive lab experience. + Knowledge in Dr. Lin's field of expertise.
