Lead Research Technologist – Lin Lab

The Department of Inflammation & Immunity advances scientific understanding by bringing together a dedicated and collaborative team of scientists at the forefront of immunologic and organ-based research, to deliver impactful translational science that improves the health and well-being of patients at Cleveland Clinic and across the globe. The Feng Lin Lab studies complement activation and regulation in diseases like multiple sclerosis and myasenthia gravis.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develop and design experimental studies.
Analyze and evaluate data and information obtained from various projects.
Plan, organize, perform, and monitor daily project protocols.
Collect, prepare, and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes, and medical reports.
Report and assist with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events, and other project-related issues.
Develop, recommend, and implement changes in procedures for the various research laboratories.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations, conference reports/lectures, and publishing submissions.
Assist with the design, development, and writing of extramural grant proposals.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master’s degree in biological sciences or a related field.
Six years of experience including previous independent research positions.
A bachelor’s degree and eight years of experience may substitute the education requirement.
Ability to conduct independent research studies.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Ability to train and supervise new caregivers.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Extensive lab experience.
Knowledge in Dr. Lin’s field of expertise.
