Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner

                                       $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

 

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.  May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.

Acts as a resource person for other employees. May train or communicate instructions to other employees, perform minor scheduling, and inspect work to separate acceptable work from unacceptable. Serves as a contact person in the absence of a supervisor or director. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise performance.

Required Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State. Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months of Hospital based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care.
