Job Title: Restoration Technician

Pay: $22-$30/hr depending on experience

Location: Burbank surrounding area (covering West LA, Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena)

Schedule: M-F from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description

We have an excellent reputation for quality construction and restoration of commercial and residential projects, including content manipulation and new builds. We are seeking driven and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team. As an Emergency Service Technician, you will be responsible for a range of restoration tasks, responding to emergencies, and maintaining high standards in every project.

ResponsibilitiesFire Damage: board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning, and pack outWater Damage: extraction, drying, minor demolition, and pack outTrash removalMaterial/supply deliveryMold RemediationRestoration: contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasksOn-call rotation for new emergency callsMaintain high quality and standards of the departmentStrengthen the company's image with each customer and their insurance carrierAssessment and Inspection: evaluate the extent of damage to buildings and structuresEmergency Response: quickly respond to emergency calls involving significant property damageDamage Control: implement immediate measures to prevent further damageRestoration Work: perform tasks such as water extraction, drying out structures, and cleaning up after fire damageDemolition: safely dismantle and remove damaged parts of a structureMold Remediation: identify and address mold issues caused by water damageDocumentation: maintain detailed records of the damage, work performed, and materials usedFollow safety protocols and regulationsQuality Assurance: ensure that all restoration and construction work meets industry standards and client expectationsEssential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in restorationProficient in English communication and documentationIICRC CertificationWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Leads typically work with a crew of four technicians. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a meeting at the shop in Burbank each morning. There is an on-call schedule requiring availability one weekend per month and alternating weeknights. The work area includes West LA, Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
