Responsible for driving business growth through the management of underwriting new and complex commercial transactions, primarily for Healthcare customers, inclusive of timely and accurate financial performance assessment of new and existing clients.
Partners with cross-functional deal team members structuring deals, confirming adherence to requirements, and overseeing the documentation process, including negotiating terms and conditions.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of underwriting discipline, financial statement analysis, and analytical thinking to execute business policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related commercial, operational, compliance and portfolio management disciplines.
Portfolio management responsibilities include regular analysis of financial performance, assessing trends and marketplace influences, proactively mitigating risk. Detailed analysis includes assessment of financial results vs. forecast, identifying potential issues and addressing appropriately.
May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions.
QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 6+ years of experience in Underwriting (or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience)

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $97,920.00-$146,880.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
