Senior Territory Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales within the New England area. This technical professional sells automation products and services, assists customers in resolving issues, grows relationships and accounts, and suggests technological improvements. The role often collaborates with engineers and sales support to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful sales outcomes. The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division in the Northeast region of the U.S. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCommunicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.•\tIdentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•\tManaging administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experienceFour or more years of directly-related experience in machine automation and motion controlUp to 50% travel, mostly in the region with occasional other domestic and international travel; valid driver’s license and passport required with no barriers to travel.Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and solutions.Effective interpersonal and presentation skills.Interested in the application of leading-edge technology across industries.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
