Essential Responsibilities
Create integrated schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for various project phasesEnsure schedules are vetted by Superintendents, subtrades, or the internal Production Rates database, and adhere to company best practicesDevelop critical path method (CPM) baseline schedulesPrepare preliminary master schedules before project start to ensure they are realistic and competitiveParticipate in project planning during pursuits and respond to RFPs, including reading and analyzing contractual requirements, drawings, and specificationsIncorporate resource and cost data into schedules and update progress throughout project executionTrack unplanned events, assess their impacts, and update schedules accordinglyProvide Time-Impact-Analysis (TIA) schedules, as-built vs. as-planned schedules, and microwork schedules as neededWork with project controls managers, project managers, and teams to define project execution plans and schedulesMaintain master schedules and provide narratives for changes from the baselineDevelop and maintain databases for construction productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times, and project risk itemsQualifications
Minimum 8+ years in a Planner, Scheduler, or similar role, with experience managing complex ICI project schedulesIndustrial, Commercial, or Institutional construction site-based experience is preferredDiploma or degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or related trade certificationsProficient in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft ProjectStrong understanding of construction execution strategies and CPM methodologiesWork Conditions
