Be at the forefront of our security initiatives. Configure, Implement, and maintain cutting-edge security solutions to protect our systems and data. Also provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Keep up with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and ensure our defenses are always one step ahead.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, enhance and troubleshoot the security infrastructure across endpoint, network, application, and cloud security tools.Provide technical mentorship and training to other engineers on the team.Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.Maintain awareness of and respond to cybersecurity trends, best practices, threats, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).Identify and communicate potential threats to information assets.Maintain security standards and procedures.Participate in the change management process.Clearly and effectively communicate security controls and processes to stakeholders of various technical proficiencies.

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, MIS, information technology, related field, or equivalent education/experience6 plus years of professional experience in cyber securityExperience  implementing, maintaining, and improving IT security platforms and technologies.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues.Working knowledge of authentication and access systems, system logging, and event correlation tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience mentoring junior staff and lead security initiatives.Knowledgeable of industry and threat landscape changes.

Technical Skills & Competencies (Advantageous)

Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security +GIAC Security Essentials CISSPOther advanced SANS certification(s) preferred but not required.Experience with automating routine work and configuration management via scripting, platform native automations, API calls, etc.
