About the Position: This position serves as the Lead Security Specialist in the Office of the Chief of Staff Intelligence & Security Office located at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Responsibilities Serves as the Lead Security Specialist in the G-2 Intelligence and Security Office, Office of the Chief of Staff, within the DEVCOM Analysis Center. Manage daily operations of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). Coordinate with the Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA). Manage the SCI security violations. Oversee the Intrusion Detection System. Perform all on-site security requirements. Distribute the team's workload according to G2 priorities. Communicate with the G2 Chief, Team Leads, and other personnel to ensure that all stakeholders are fully informed about assigned functional areas. Specialized experience is defined as; (1) Implement security measures to safeguard Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF); (2) Troubleshoot security alarm systems in secure facilities; and (3) Utilize automated security databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DE-02 (GS-11 Equivalent).
