For a development minded person, IM offers an opportunity to shape the future of our IT environment and be part of the global digital transformation. IM is now collaborating with our Energy Storage and Optimization (ES&O) business unit, which is part of our Energy business and is a leading provider of intelligent energy management software platform & energy storage turn-key system. We are seeking a QA Engineer in the Mumbai, India office, to work in collaboration with ES&O team for Navi Mumbai location. Job Description Conduct manual testing of energy storage projects developed. On an average 70% of the work is manual testing and 30% on automated testing. Performs technically advanced responsibilities for both manual and automated testing Execute test cases (exploratory or automated) and investigate results Script, maintain and improve project automated tests. Manage and track project and solution issues and their resolutions. Focus on our smart grid and renewable energy control logic, applications, and solutions. Participate in an agile development environment. Develop project operation & maintenance manuals and other technical documents. Participate in customer facing discussions, meetings, and project delivery. Contribute to company vision. Participate in solution road map planning and technology evaluation Qualifications Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, I.T.) or B.S. Degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant experience in manual testing. Passionate about solution quality and 100% test coverages. Attention to details. Knowledge and experience with Linux, Docker, and common system maintenance tools.- good to have Expertise in agile software testing methodologies, processes, and tools. Ability to embrace a fast-moving environment and comfortable with quickly adapting to changing priorities. Self-driven, highly motivated and can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively Good communicator and collaborator in a team environment, especially with on-site team in a different time zone. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task within tight deadlines Nice to have Expertise in coding with Python, Java, Java Script, and other scripting languages for developing QA automations. Experience using the Atlassian suite of tools, such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence Experience with Git/Jenkins Experience in front-end and back-end automation Expertise in QA automation tools such as Selenium, Junit, LoadRunner, JMeter.
