Your Impact:
As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in helping deliver cutting-edge systems that help guide our customers through challenging cyber risks to ultimately find even greater opportunities. In the Software Development Engineer in Test role, you will help us build a culture that believes everybody owns quality and that our customers and partners come first. We’re looking for someone with a passion for leveraging test automation to deliver high-quality solutions to market. As a hands-on developer, coach, and evangelist, the candidate will influence and guide agile development teams toward quality engineering within a DevOps culture by:
• Mentoring team members on test automation best practices, implementations, and design
• Creating and maintaining automated regression, smoke, and feature-focused test suites in various programming languages. This is a development position.
• Defining test plans and create test scenarios and cases for web services, user interfaces, and back-end systems
• Working alongside Product Owners, Developers, and fellow QA team members to plan test automation and architectural evolution for new and existing products
• Collaborating with the development team to architect and develop automation testing practices, tools, and solutions
• Troubleshooting and analyzing test failures and driving resolutions
Help us “shift left” by leveraging our learning culture, cutting edge tools, frameworks, design patterns, and our team-oriented processes. As a part of the QA team, you will also ensure that the Research and Development department is kept abreast of new technology, tools, and trends within the industry and influence adoption where appropriate.
As a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test, you will:
Provide strong leadership for the team, wielding technical and business influence beyond team boundaries.Drive multi-team initiatives spanning diverse domains, consistently delivering value that extends beyond the immediate team.Quickly grasp the business context to enhance customer value significantly.Make timely decisions, prioritizing customer trust over expediency, and leverage input to determine optimal technical solutions.Identify and course-correct when the current path does not meaningfully serve customer needs, playing a key role in setting longer-term business strategy.Lead in setting the quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.Possess 8-12 years of previous professional experience.

Programming languages: C#, C++, or JavaScripting languages: Python, Perl, Bash or PowerShell Performance testing tools: Jmeter, Blazemeter, or comparable Unit testing frameworks: Nunit, junit, or xunitApi testing frameworks: REST Assured, Requests, RestSharp, or PostmanFrontend testing frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, or PlaywrightFamiliarity with testing methodologies and patterns such as pagemodel, BVA, equivalence partitioning, and path analysisA clear understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong Object-Oriented design skills desired Basic competency with Git source control
