What the role offers:

As a Lead Software Developer you will:

• Provide strong leadership for the team, wielding technical and business influence beyond team boundaries.

• Drive multi-team initiatives spanning diverse domains, consistently delivering value that extends beyond the immediate team.

• Quickly grasp the business context to enhance customer value significantly.

• Identify and course-correct when the current path does not meaningfully serve customer needs, playing a key role in setting longer-term business strategy.

• Possess 8-10 years of previous professional experience. 

 

What you need to succeed:

Leadership experience in designing and implementing data storesKnowledge in IBM i Series (AS400) and IBM Mainframe Z/OS experienceVery strong in TSQL / SQLExtensive experience creating Indexes, Stored Procedures, Views, and Triggers (TSQL)In-depth knowledge of database technologies, architecture, and data security.Familiar with using Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM and KanbanProficient understanding of code source control versioning toolsWorked with very high load APIs and applicationsExperience of ‘Big Data’ stores (HIVE, Presto, ElasticSearch)Knowledge and experience in .Net (C#)
