DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide customers leveraging public cloud Amazon Web services (AWS) with technical solutions (architecture, design and development, etc.). Develop code for ETL data pipelines. Code application logic scripts and infrastructure as a terraform code for public cloud resource provisioning. Design and develop the end to end application solutions based on public cloud technologies. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead product development lifecycle by owning and writing detailed requirements that capture functional, design, and control/regulatory features. Conduct Discovery sessions to clarify and prioritize requirements. Lead the evaluation of architectural designs, technical design documents, and applicability for use within existing systems and architecture. Collaborate with Tech, Product and other data partners to develop and implement data engineering use cases and to optimize solutions and develop code. Develop the end to end code and design for the data transformation pipelines using tools to load application cloud watch logs into a data storage service and parse data to retrieve data to track privilege access events and ensure no unauthorized access to the systems. Develop terraform code for the deploying of the application code and AWS resources to be provisioned. Develop common technical patterns while adhering to the firms’ data security, compliance and applications development guidelines policies. Coordinate unit and system integration testing for various criteria’s related to the performance, stress/ load testing, scalability and response time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary:  $179,782 - $215,000 per year.
