As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be contributing to the Research & Development of the HERE Navigation Assistant.
HERE Navigation Assistant is an AI-based service that leverages location intelligence and multi-LLM capabilities to enable use of natural human language to formulate complex location related queries and receive precise results.
Your role encompasses the following responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and participate in the design, review, and development of enterprise software and infrastructure solutions in collaboration with system architectsDevelop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions following best practices and Agile methodologyWrite performant, scalable, and maintainable code that is also easily testableContinuous integration and delivery of new features/code with automated testingParticipate in code reviews, providing objective feedback and improving overall software qualityPerform root cause analysis of software and system defects and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreement) are metActively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and other Agile ceremonies with the teamMentor team members and encourage adherence to standards and best practices Who are you?We are looking for the persons with the following experience and skills:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field or 7+ years Software Programming experience building scalable commercial applications or servicesExpertise building and operating high throughput, low latency, exceptionally reliable systems at scaleExpertise with software architecture and ability to formulate and review designsProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar will be a benefitExperience with Generative AI, LLMs and Machine Learning in general is a plusExpertise with cloud computing and cloud storage infrastructures (AWS or Azure)Expertise with Continuous Delivery and working in a DevOps culture (Gitlab, Artifactory, Sonarqube etc.)Experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration like Docker, and KubernetesExperience with monitoring and debugging tools (Splunk, Grafana)Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environmentWhat we offer:
