We are OpenText-Fortify and we specialize in Enterprise Application Security.  Our product helps you manage, measure and integrate security for the entire software lifecycle.

What the role offers:

Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of application software, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.Analyses design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.Ability to write good clean code on a day-to-day basis and actively participates in Code reviews.Should be open to work across technologies as a stack developer.Leads a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourceddevelopment partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more complex development projects.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. 

 

What you need to succeed:

At least 10 years or above hands-on C++ programming experience required.Experience with both Win32 and LINUX APIs required. Experience developing multi-threaded software required.Experience in server-side of large-scale multi-tier software applications required. Experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL required.Passion in software engineering, technology oriented. Independent, self-reliant, trustable, quick learning, high responsible and with can do attitude Standard C++, Boost C++, JNI, Web Service(SOAP/REST), database performance tuning, system core dump analysis.Tools: Visual Studio C++, gdb/g++/gccIron will and strong motivation to grow.Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Using software applications design tools and languages.Excellent time management and self-organization/autonomy.Software applications basic testing methodology, including writing and execution of testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.Experience in working with version control and build tools like GIT, GitLab, Maven and Jenkins.Good Networking skills and experience
