What The Role Offers

 

As a Lead Software engineer - DevOps‎, you will lead efforts in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-hosted applications primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role involves designing scalable infrastructure, implementing automation for deployment pipelines, and ensuring reliability and security for enterprise applications. Your hands-on expertise in GCP services, DevOps tools, and coding in Python or Java will drive cloud modernization and continuous delivery practices.

 

What You Need To Succeed

 

Experience to build and maintain tools for build, deployment, monitoringDevelop automated pipelines, processes & scripts to support the deployment of applications in cloud environments for development and testing activitiesDeploy, monitor, and administer Cloud applications and the underlying services for CloudHands-on working experience in GCP/AWS/Azure/OpenShift clouds including administrator activities – GCP is preferredExperience deploying applications is preferred, and experience with automated deployment tools is a plusResponsible for all aspects of the Cloud infrastructure, Deployments, CI/CD pipeline automation etc.Managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.Troubleshoot and resolve issues, assist in the development and test environments when neededAnalyze data including various logs, traffic trace, and complex configuration dataCollaborating with development and operations teams to optimize applications for cloud deployment.Any prior experience and hands-on with Java and Spring stack will be an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure.Expertise in Cloud services and best practices for hosting enterprise applications. (Experience with GCP is preferred) Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Helm charts.Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Google Cloud Build.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible. Proven experience in scripting and automation with Python or Java.Ability to analyze logs and metrics for troubleshooting and performance tuning.Strong knowledge of cost optimization strategies for GCP. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
