Lead Software Engineer
Job Title: Software Engineer Job Description You will be working on existing military vehicle platforms, developing software following organizational standard software processes. You will collaborate with the government customer to develop software requirements, design software following existing/defined architectures, and integrate and test software post-development. You will also identify key areas of improvement within the integration process. Responsibilities + Develop software for existing military vehicle platforms following organizational standards. + Collaborate with government customers to develop software requirements. + Design software following existing and defined architectures. + Integrate and test software post-development. + Identify key areas of improvement within the integration process. + Support integration events and lead/mentor junior engineers. + Organize and support integration and demonstration events. + Manage scope and organize tasks for team members. Essential Skills + Minimum 4 years of experience developing with C++. + Strong Linux knowledge and experience developing within Linux. + Repository knowledge, preferably BitBucket or GitLab. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with project management and communicating project status updates. + Understanding of both front-end and back-end software development lifecycle, with a focus on front end. + Experience defining, modifying, or providing input on requirements. + Skills in git, SELinux, bash scripting, Ethernet, and partitioning. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
