Lead Software Engineer
**Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on deploying and managing applications on AWS and other cloud platforms, using various software frameworks such as Java, Node.js, Angular, React, and .NET. This position requires technical knowledge on AWS, SDLC concepts and will work independently with application development teams, business leaders, data and technical management to develop both architecture framework, and deliver solutions across multiple business units leveraging the use of container/microservice architecture and related platform. Nice-to-have is experience with Redis, Micro-Frontends and Micro-services. + Mastery of web fundamentals, including vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS, performance, and networking. + Proven ability to lead projects and communicate with cross-functional partners effectively in an Agile environment as part of a team of engineers, designers, product experts, marketers, and strategists. + Experience with modern web application development, including building tools, testing, CI/CD, and AWS. + Working knowledge of security best practices, eg: OWASP, dealing with PII data + Excitement, energy, and strong people skills including excellent written and verbal communication. + BA/BS degree in computer science or related field **Location** + At least three days a week at Guardian Location in New York, NY, Holmdel, NJ or Bethlehem, PA **Salary Range:** $116,350.00 - $191,155.00 The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
