J.P Morgan is currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer skilled in Python and TypeScript to develop and maintain web applications. You will work on both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and performance. 

You will become a part of the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) Applied AIML Engineering team, collaborating closely with Data Scientists to develop production-quality software supported by cutting-edge AI/ML tools and frameworks, including large language models (LLM).

Job Responsibilities

Develop server-side applications using Python Build responsive UIs with TypeScript / React / Svelte / Vue Design and consume RESTful APIs Participate in and drive design discussions, contribute to architecture decisions Engage with user experience and design specialists  Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, follow SDLC best practice Manage and optimize infrastructure using containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience Significant experience in full stack development Proficient in server-side and front-end technologies (Python, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Practical experience with cloud platforms, e.g. Kubernetes, AWS Experience communicating with business facing customers and technical teams Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field

Practical experience leading and mentoring small development teams Practical experience deploying LLM applications into production
