We are seeking a software integration engineer to assist in the integration of software components into the Missile Warning system. This position would be responsible for the deployment and configuration of open source, commercial, government provided, and Leidos developed products and the configuration of networking equipment, and the management of classified and unclassified labs.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage a team of system administrators, database administrators, and system security personnelInstallation and configuration of VMWare TanzuInstallation and configuration of a journaling engineInstallation and configuration of multiple database enginesDevelopment of scripts required to successfully deploy containers in the Tanzu environmentWorking with the development team to ensure deployment is in alignment with the designDevelopment of build and configuration guidesManagement of both the classified and unclassified software labsConfiguration of boundary security devices used within the programProvide assistance to team members as it relates to technology implementationAssist development team with code development, scanning, and developers testingSecuring containers in compliance with DoD security policies

Basic Qualifications:

Experience managing small multi-discipline teamsBachelor’s degree in either information technology or networking. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degreeCurrently possess a Secret ClearanceExperience with the deployment and configuration of firewallsUnderstanding of DNS, DHCP, VLAN configuration and IP subnettingExperience with Linux operating systemExperience with VMWare productsParticipate in all aspects of software development lifecycle, design, development, and testingExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with customerExcellent written communication skillsSix (6) years of related experience.

Experience with TanzuExperience with DockerExperience with a variety of database engines

Familiarity with software design diagrams

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
