Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Solution Architect in the IT Resiliency & Recovery organization. This area is focused on establishing a cross-IT discipline dedicated to ensuring our products have the appropriate levels of both resiliency and recovery.  This includes all IT managed technology which our business depends on ranging from custom business applications to infrastructure across our data centers, clouds, and third-party partners.  This is an excellent time to be part of the Resiliency & Recovery team as this is a newly established function with tremendous opportunity for growth. We are actively partnering with business and IT leadership to roadmap the next several years and beyond to transform how we look at resiliency and recovery capabilities.  

 

As a Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for identifying and driving the general technical direction and architectural patterns for both resiliency and recovery.  This is an exciting and challenging role as it will require both broad technical knowledge across the range of technologies used at Enterprise and an understanding of how our many IT systems are connected together to create business value.  To be successful in this role, you will need to advocate for appropriate applications of resiliency and recovery to architecture and be able to influence the technical approach of other teams - this is a highly visible and collaborative role! You will be a subject matter expert for all things resiliency and recovery across the IT organization and will collaborate with domain-aligned solution architects, policy & standards leaders, business continuity experts, and various levels of IT leadership. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Identify and design innovative architectural solutions and patterns for the resiliency and recovery of IT products Help drive and mature processes which prioritize investments by business criticality and balance protection with risk. Maintain expertise in emerging architectural methods, technologies, business strategies, Enterprise standards, and security best practices and apply them in the context of resiliency and recovery. Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams on standards, guidance, best practices, and processes for resiliency and recovery. Define and maintain technical roadmaps and strategies that align with IT and business needs Provide thought leadership, instruction, and mentorship to department. Ability to troubleshoot solutions for root cause, suggesting solutions and new designs when necessary. Influence and partner with tech leadership across the organization.

Required:
