GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Role Overview:

Responsible for regional (Japan, Korea and ASEAN) professional hiring, predominantly junior to senior internal and external hires across all business functions, blue collar hiring, internship and leadership program hiring

Responsible for the wing-to-wing recruitment process, including but not limited to, managing job posting and process compliance, job launch, sourcing and screening of candidates, interview arrangement, candidate tracking and weekly status updates to business partners. Facilitate interview feedback sessions, prepare salary proposal, extend verbal offers and issue Employment Agreements

Collaborate with People Leaders, Department Leaders and HR to ensure a positive candidate’s experience

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop an expertise in their business and talent needs, helping to develop and manage talent pools and pipelines

Utilize proactive and innovative sourcing strategies utilizing various techniques to meet the hiring demand of the business

Challenge current processes and highlight opportunities to improve on our Lean journey

Coach People Leaders / interviewers to incorporate capability / competency based assessments during their interview

Maintain strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company by hiring talented people of diverse backgrounds, experiences and styles

Effectively use social media tools in alignment with GE’s Brand Strategy

Provide ad hoc market intelligence data to business, combine information (talent market trend, threats, opportunity, etc.) to be used at business strategy level

Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.

An ideal candidate is able to engage candidates' and people leader effectively to ensure a smooth hiring process and a great candidate experience. Able to strive in a fast paced environment managing multiple task and adapting to changing business needs.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience of minimum 7 years in talent acquisition, sourcing and recruitment

Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace is preferred.

Demonstrated success in wing-to-wing including sourcing, interviewing and offers

Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.

Understanding of labor legislation and employment laws.

Good awareness of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Drive recruitment events e.g. job fairs, and campus networking sessions

Team Player, strong communicator, analytical and problem solver

 

Preferred Qualifications

Regional experience in Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Singapore markets is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to utilize social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn) for sourcing candidates.

Analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and improve processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of employer branding strategies and techniques
