Summary:
The IT SAP Position is primarily responsible to drive transformational digital initiatives within the organization. These efforts are at the forefront of streamlining processes and enabling real-time metrics for improved decision making. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.

Problem Resolution:
Research production problems and/or enhancement issues and make appropriate configuration changes to the system. Initiate action and evaluate issues to develop alternative solutions. Apply expert knowledge and experience to resolve problems. Conduct day-to-day troubleshooting and break-fix activities. Provide telephone support to share in the 24x7 365 day support of SAP production system. Key member of the SAP Reporting team responsible for the technical design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solutions. Collaborate with other teams responsible for related functional areas ((Record to Report, Plan to Produce, Quote to Cash) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration). Log issues and maintain status in issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status.Continuous Improvement and Efficiency Projects:
Interact with all levels of business to analyze business requirements/processes. Provide advice and guidance to the business on various approaches by explaining industry best practices for business processes and executing solutions. Recommend and implement approved process improvements or new functionality. Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery. Translate functional requirements into detailed SAP technical specifications and coordinate with functional team for solution design and development Configure SAP and develop/perform unit tests in accordance with specifications. Good knowledge of SAP releases and patches, including applying OSS notes.Knowledge Transfer/Mentor:
Develop and conduct SAP training and knowledge transfer to business clients. Proactively train other IT resources to further develop their understanding of SAP application configuration and business processes.SOX Compliance:
Ensure that changes/enhancements are completed using appropriate SOX control processes. Recommend/implement SOX change control process changes as necessaryRequirements:

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python coding skills, and knowledge of Rest APIs is beneficial. Knowledge in SQL, R scripting, and JavaScript. Previous experience in Midstream Oil & Gas industry is a plus SAP Certification is a plusWorking Conditions:
