We are looking for a Program/Acquisition Manager with experience within acquisition management, project/program management, contracting principles, and Government financial and fiscal planning policy.  Applicant will be embedded within the government program and provide support in Configuration Management, Production Management, Manufacturing Sustainment, Logistics Sustainment and Product Life Cycle Management.

Applicant shall have expertise in building project/program schedules, acquisition strategy, planning and documentation, Earned Valued Management (EVM), financial planning and budgeting, as well as understanding budgeting and planning within the FYDP and the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.

Applicant shall be able to assist in the review and analysis of prime and subcontractor EVM performance, develop of pre and post-award documentation and briefings, schedule analysis, risk analysis, tracking, scheduling, milestone planning, integrated master schedule analysis, and staff coordination.

Applicant shall be able to understand DoD acquisition program documentation and acquisition directives relevant to assigned tasks, as well as be able to understand or be able to quickly reference or find applicable DoD acquisition program documentation and acquisition directives relevant to assigned tasks. This include the ability to analyze government regulatory and statutory policies and directives and develop a plan for compliance to meet all the necessary milestones or provide leadership with informed decisions on implementation or affects to the program.

Applicant shall be able to form cross-organization and functional teams to assess specific issues and, using tools and experience listed above, resolve the issue and provide final results to leadership or senior-level officials within required timelines.

Must have an active U.S. government security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain

Required Qualifications:

Applicant shall have experience working Microsoft Office toolset, and program scheduling tools like MS Project.Applicant shall easily and clearly communicate to leadership, team members, or senior-level officials across the range of these topics, providing assessment, recommendations, and guidance on projects. Applicant shall have experience with DoD acquisition program documentation and acquisition directives.Be able to work independently, or in a team, assigned task, meet required timelines, and accomplish the set goals.

Required Education:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Business Management, Finance, System Engineering, or an Engineering Discipline.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a Program/Acquisition Management role.Defense experience is preferred but not required.
