Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are hiring a Lead Speech Language Pathologist for our Prospect Center in Queensbury, NY. Prospect Center has been a leader in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families in the Tri-County Area (Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties). Our work in advocacy, education, services, and support has created a wider world of opportunity, greater acceptance and more integrated lives for people who have disabilities. Responsibilities: + Contributes to the mission of the Center for Disability Services and Children's Services division + Responsible for providing clinical direction and supervision to Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) within the division, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective services for students and their families + The LSLP will balance clinical responsibilities, delivering direct speech and language therapy to students within the school setting, with administrative duties, working closely with program management and interdisciplinary teams to maintain and enhance service delivery Requirements: + Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is required + Specialized training, license, certification, skills: NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists, NYS Teaching Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence required for all who supervise college interns and Clinical Fellows + At least 3 years of job related experience, specifically in clinical experience post licensure and ASHA CCC's + At least 5 years of job related experience, specifically in clinical experience preferred + Professional experience with working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferred + Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds + This position is 37.5 hours/week. This is a school calendar position . The compensation range for this position is $78,000 to $81,900. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
